This is one cool game.
Depending on how much effort you want to put into the controls you can work up a good sweat.
2 big problems with it for me though:
- If you go into the wrong event you can’t then use B to go back to the selection screen, you may be able to bring up a menu and do it that way but it would be easier to use B.
- You can’t copy your save data to an SD card, I played it over christmas on my brother in laws wii and then when I took it home I had to redo things to unlock new events.
- The highest high jump you can do is 2.6m and I cleared that with Mario.
Ok that was 3 problems but the last one is just me showing off.
After having a beer filled night with some friends playing with singstar on the PS2 I bought Boogie for the Wii a few weeks ago.
It’s quite a neat little program allthough the way I play the dance sections is going to give me RSI I think.
I was a bit dissapointed with the microphone though as I think they could have done more with it such as producing a bluetooth microphone to remove the need for the very long cable.
For a console that has bluetooth capability this would have been ideal, sure it’s more batteries to replace/recharge but the wireless nature of the existing wiimote is part of the fun.
The first night we played on it for over 4 hours.
Some of the songs are a bit old and would be nice to add others to it.
